Monday thru Friday 7-4 pm or 8-5 pm

Pay Rate: 20.00 to 22.00 hour to start

Position Summary

The Post Processing Specialist is responsible for preparing material for use in production processes processing equipment, post processing of parts produced by production processes, packaging and labeling finished parts prior to shipment to customers. Responsibilities also include producing accurate production and quality records as required by the company’s quality system. This position requires a high degree of specialized training and the ability to handle small and delicate parts without damaging them. Responsibilities can also include loading and unloading of production machines or other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor .

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Practice safe behavior all aspects of the production process.

Efficiently pre and post process production material according to process descriptions and detailed training.

Follow quality system requirements in all aspects of the job.

Inspect parts for visual damage and follow procedures for correct handling.

Package and label parts as required by and customer documentation for shipping to customer.

Keep work area clean and organized.

Work as a member of a team to ensure that production schedules are met.

Enter information into computer system as required.

Load and unload production machinery as assigned by Production Supervisor.

Educational Requirements

High school diploma or General Education Degree.

Experience Requirements

Experience in working in a production environment is preferred but not required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Excellent vision and eye hand coordination.

Ability to handle and manipulate small parts by hand or by using tweezers.

Ability to read, clearly write, and speak English.

Ability to enter data into computers.

Ability to use personal protective devices as described in production processes.

Ability to exercise fine motor skills in the handling of delicate parts at an efficient throughput rate.

Ability to read and follow process specifications.

Ability to use microscope for inspection and processing of parts.

Ability to pay attention to details.

Ability to work with chemicals and solvents.

Able to perform basic mathematic calculations.
