Our client, one of Oregon's leaders in the engineering, manufacturing, and materials management industry has openings for Mechanical and Electrical Assemblers. TheMechanical Assemblerwill use a variety of tools and equipment to assemble electrical and mechanical components.
As a MechanicalAssembler, you'll receive:
$20 - $25hourly wage to start - based on your direct assembly experience
Potential for Overtime opportunities on Friday and Saturday= 1.5x pay (Yes, you heard that correct, Monday - Thursday work schedule)
Amazing Monday - Thursday consistent schedule 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Comprehensive individualized training programs focused on personal and professionalgrowth.
This position will be a temp to hire role, meaning after your probationary period, if you have met the required criteria, demonstrated good attendance, and job performance, you may be offered a permanent position.
As a MechanicalAssembler, you will be required to:
Fabricate and assemble electrical and mechanical components of slurry and chemicalsystems used in the semiconductor industry
Use multi-meters, crimpers, plastic welders, torque wrenches &hand/power tools
Use Microsoft 365, Bluestar system dynamics, Solid works 3D modeling software,and review electrical schematics and prints
Use schematics to fabricate and assemble components of a system
Qualifications:
1 year of mechanical or electrical assembly experience is preferred.
Previous experience reading electrical assembly schematics.
Previous experience assembling and/or fabricating electrical parts
Experience with safety and quality demands while working in a production facility & ability to deal with changing priorities on a daily basis.
Ability to work closely with a team of other assemblers - Being a team player is crucial
Ability to stand for long periods of time, repetitive motion, use arms and hands in a steady form for long periods of time.
To pass a background check and drug test, that includes THC
