Manufacturer in NW Portland looking for production workers:
We are a privately owned manufacturing plant located in the heart of NW Portland. Our company is celebrating 50 years and is an industry leader in creating products for material handling, construction and mining.
Duties may include:
Loading & unloading rubber presses
Prepping rubber and/or metals
Quality control of products
Time management, tracking of production
Ability to multi-task
Ideal candidates have:
High attention to detail and safety
Good communication skills
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Good English skills
Ability to work with diverse workforce
Solid and loyal work history
Strong work ethic
These skills are nice to have, but not necessary:
Experience in general labor or manufacturing
Forklift experience
Open positions are on day shift and graveyard. Day (5:30am – 1:30pm) Monday through Friday; Graveyard (9:30pm – 5:30am) Monday night through Saturday morning. Note: Graveyard positions may need to train on day for a period of time prior to transfer to graveyard.

Job Type: Full-time, 401(k) with 3% contribution once eligible, paid time off, paid holidays, health/vision insurance (we pay 50%), life insurance, plus upgrade options for health insurance and group dental.
