All Star Labor and Staffing is hiring for a skilled Maintance Mechanic for a Rubber Manufacturing Company in the Beaverton area.
Job Summary
The Maintenance Mechanic plays a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of machinery and equipment within our facility. This position requires a proactive individual with strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills to perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and implement repairs efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise and leadership abilities to contribute to a safe and productive work environment.
Duties
-Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues.
-Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
-Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to diagnose problems.
-Repair or replace defective parts using appropriate tools and techniques.
-Fabricate components as needed to ensure proper functioning of equipment.
-Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
-Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency and safety protocols.
-Utilize logic controllers for troubleshooting and repairs on automated systems.
-Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
Skills
-Proficient in welding techniques for equipment repair and fabrication.
-Strong electrical skills, including the use of an ohmmeter for diagnostics.
-Solid mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance.
-Ability to lead projects and mentor junior staff effectively.
-Familiarity with logic controllers and their application in maintenance tasks.
-Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
-Strong analytical skills for problem-solving in complex mechanical systems.
-Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule and Pay:
Monday- Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
Payrate is $25 or more Depending on Experience.
