The Department of County Management (DCM) is seeking a well versed Safety and Health Analyst Senior to join the Risk Management leadership team to provide advanced professional and technical support in the field of risk management. As a member of the Risk Management Safety and Health team, this position will provide loss control and provide a specialized work focus on safety program development and training to support County Departments and Risk Management objectives. The primary area of responsibility includes employee safety and loss prevention during and planning for temporary inclement weather sheltering and emergency management activations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Bachelor’s degree; preferably in Risk Management , Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field. (In lieu of a degree, we will consider equivalent years of related experience)
-Five (5) years in the field of Occupational Safety & Health.

Hybrid Telework: This position is designated as “hybrid telework,” meaning you will be working both remotely (from home) and in person at an onsite location. The designation of Hybrid Telework may be subject to change at a future time. All employees must reside in Oregon or Washington; the County cannot support ongoing telework from other locations.
The home-site work location for this position is Multnomah Building: 501 SE Hawthorne Blvd., Portland, OR 97214. Other locations may be in the community at other County Departments as this position will be required to be on-site, wherever needed, and during non activation time, will need to be available for meetings and table-top exercises and planning.
Schedule: Monday - Friday; There may be some flexibility with start and end times.
