Job Summary:
Roadmaster, Inc. is seeking a motivated and experienced Government Contracts Specialist to identify, evaluate, and bid on government contracts that align with our business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of government contracting processes, requirements and forms and have a track record of finding opportunities and winning bids.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and identify government contract opportunities relevant to Roadmaster’s manufacturing capabilities.
Develop and submit competitive bids, ensuring compliance with any appropriate government regulations.
Maintain a thorough understanding of procurement laws, policies, and procedures.
Establish and maintain relationships with government agencies and contracting officers.
Manage timelines and coordinate resources to meet proposal deadlines.
Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information for proposal development.
Qualifications:
Extensive experience in government contracting, including proposal writing and bid submissions.
Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS and other federal procurement regulations.
Strong research and analytical skills.
Proficiency in government databases such as SAM.gov and other procurement portals.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
