Job Description:
In need of entry-level machine operators! Operators will learn how to monitor and operate various large industrial cutting, rolling, coating, and sealing machines. They produce large quantities of different paper products like coated and uncoated blank paper rolls and envelopes used by printing companies.
Will start in the department closest to the finished product and as they improve, they will learn machines located closer to the raw material.
Must be comfortable in a loud and dirty manufacturing environment.
Monitor, operate and troubleshoot machinery and equipment in a smooth and efficient manner.
Operate mobile equipment.
Work constructively in a team environment.
Perform weekly safety inspections.
Shift:
Rotating 5 days on, 5 days off schedule
12-hour, rotating shift schedule
Example schedule: three (3) 12 hr. days, rotating to two (2) 12 hr. nights, followed by five days off. This rotating schedule covers 28 days (14 days off, for 14 days worked each month) and all employees get two weekends off a month.
Day shift: 4:30a-4:30p
Night shift: 4:30p-4:30a.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
·Prolonged periods of working on feet standing and walking.
·Climb stairs and ladders.
·Must be able to push up to 50 lbs.
·Steel Toed Boots required
Experience Level:
Entry level BUT previous production or machine operation experience preferred OR proven tenure
