Description of role:

We are looking for qualified CNC machinists with experience in CNC Lathes, Horizontal or Vertical Machining Centers. This candidate will perform under limited supervision and be responsible for the set-up and operation of various shop machinery for parts production, utilizing drawings/prints, programming instructions and inspection conformance measures.

Work schedule: Days 6:30am - 5:00pm Monday through Thursday with overtime available on Fridays

Salary:

Competitive and motivated market-based salary depending on experience

Tasks:

Perform machine set-up, load and measure tooling

Work from prints and/or drawings to produce a wide variety of products

Perform high-tolerance production-style machining using GD&T and in-process inspection methodology

Check height, depth and thickness of parts using micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, gauges and other precision measurement equipment

Produce precision parts within the time constraints listed on the job traveler

Perform routine maintenance per machine requirements

Maintain personal quality tooling and accurate record keeping

Skills and requirements:

Graduate of a technical school, full apprenticeship program or comparable demonstrated experience

Demonstrated ability to create products requiring exacting tolerances

Read and understand G and M code

Read and understand blueprints and drawings as well as trigonometry

Demonstrate a high level of detail attention

Ability to lift frequently up to 10 pounds (occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds)

Ability to work independently, responsibly, and reliably

Proficiency with inspection tools

Must have your own machinist tools and basic inspection tools (calipers, micrometer, dial indicatoravailable for purchase on site)

Must pass drug test prior to hire
