### About Us:

At Yacht Tubs, we specialize in creating custom-built runabouts with integrated soaking tubs; Yacht pool by day, hot tub boat by night! (if you haven't seen them yet, check it out! www.yacht-tubs.com) We are growing our operation in Portland and looking to add new positions for passionate, skilled, and motivated crew to grow with our small crew.

### The Role:

We are looking for both experienced and apprentice boat builders, As part of the crew you’ll be immersed in every step of the boat-building process, from fiber glass, to install to final assembly and detailing. You’ll learn the technical skills required to craft high-quality boats while working alongside experienced builders who are eager to share their expertise. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is hands-on, eager to learn, and excited about becoming part of the boating community.

### Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the construction and assembly of boats, including hull preparation, electrical, systems install, bonding, final assembly and detail.

- Track and order parts and supplies needed for repairs and maintenance. Ensure all equipment is maintained in good working condition.

- Maintain accurate records of service and repairs completed on each vessel, including work orders, parts used, and time spent on each job.

- Learn to operate tools and machinery used in boat building.

- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

- Assist with boat maintenance and customer troubleshooting as needed.

- Gain a deep understanding of materials and process used in boat construction .

- Work collaboratively with the team to meet project timelines and customer expectations.

### What We’re Looking For:

- A strong interest in boats, woodworking, and/or hands-on craftsmanship.

- Enthusiasm for learning and developing new skills in a challenging, fast-paced environment.

- Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and take initiative.

- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

- Previous experience marine industry. No general construction background, boat building is for the fine craftsman

- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift heavy materials.

- Marine certifications and ABYC certifications HUGE plus.
