We are looking for a picture framer/designer with work experience in a retail frame shop.
Partial List of Responsibilities:
Develop and learn design skills for custom picture framing including: measuring accurately and choosing proper
framing products for the piece being framed
Knowledge of conservation framing, treatment and proper handling of artwork, photography, shadow boxing, and
materials needed to design the order are a must. These skills will be developed during work hours
Assist in all aspects of picture framing and gallery sales
Assist customers picking up orders, receive final payments
This job will have you doing all aspects of framing from design, cut, and build, to completion
Training may take place at any of our four locations in the Portland area, therefore, transportation must not be an issue.
We are looking for full or part time.
