Internship Overview:
Excursion Van Builds is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Paid Intern. This unique opportunity offers a dual role, allowing the intern to gain experience in both marketing and operations within the campervan rental industry. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities: This is a split role, so this individual should be comfortable wearing multiple hats.
Marketing Component:
-Manage social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling posts, and engaging with followers.
-Assist in developing marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.
-Write occasional blog posts or articles related to van life, outdoor adventures, and travel tips.
-Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and execute creative marketing campaigns.
Campervan Rental Component:
-Greet customers and assist with the check-in and check-out process.
-Ensure cleanliness and readiness of rental vans by performing routine inspections and cleaning tasks.
-Change bedding, sanitize surfaces, and maintain a high standard of cleanliness in all vans.
-Assist in basic maintenance tasks and report any issues to the management team.
Qualifications:
-Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, public relations, communications, or a related field.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
-Comfortable working occasional weekends as part of a rotating schedule. (scheduling around classes is very flexible)
-No prior experience required; training will be provided.
