Trademark Legal Assistant / Paralegal
Kolitch Romano Dascenzo Gates LLC, a boutique intellectual property law firm in downtown Portland, is looking for a detail- and team-oriented individual to assist our team of attorneys with trademark matters. This position will include assisting with all aspects of U.S. and international trademark matters, with an emphasis on preparing and filing U.S. and foreign trademark applications, conducting trademark searches, preparing and filing Office action responses, and reporting trademark documents to clients. We expect to provide training and mentoring, but please do not apply unless you have at least one year of experience working in trademark law. Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) and litigation experience is a plus.
Ideal candidates will exhibit a strong attention to detail, and will have a continuing desire to learn, a team-oriented “can do” personality, and an interest in working with a diverse group of clients spanning a variety of industries.
