This role requires in-person attendance at our office in downtown Portland.

As a Business Team Assistant, you will support attorneys and legal staff by managing essential administrative functions and assisting with overflow tasks. Responsibilities include:
Provide administrative support to attorneys and legal staff
Process incoming and outgoing mail, and maintain client files
Assist with document organization for complex matters
Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and events
Provide coverage during absences
Assist with billing, expense reconciliation, and check requests
Operate standard office equipment, such as photocopiers, computers, etc.
Other duties as assigned

Strong organization skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, solve problems, and take initiative
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Skills in maintaining and organizing case files and other documents according to established guidelines and procedures
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and accuracy including ability to proofread material for contextual, grammatical, typographical, and spelling errors
Working knowledge of Windows-based environment, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Teams, and Adobe Acrobat
