Classic Sash & Door is a window and door installation contractor looking to add high quality individuals with a positive attitude to our installation team. We value craftsmanship and leaving our customers with a quality replacement window or door project they will enjoy for years to come.
We have several positions open on the installation team, please see below for details as each position varies by experience, responsibility, and compensation.
Installation Team Apprentice / Driver
- Drive the company box van and ensure materials are delivered to their respective job sites in the Portland area safely.
- Keep our warehouse clean and organized, as well as assist with cleaning and orderly maintenance of our vehicle fleet.
- Communicate and coordinate directly with our vendors for product delivery.
- Unload windows and doors from delivery trucks safely.
- Help as needed and assist our lead carpenters during installations on job sites.
Assistant Carpenter
- Minimum two years of experience in residential remodeling, preference for experience with window and door replacement.
- Will treat client home with care and respect, working diligently and professionally in presence of homeowners.
- Lift and carry objects heavier than 100 lbs., and is familiar with safe and proper lifting technique.
- Able to work well with a partner or alone, and manage a clean, organized, and efficient work space.
Lead Carpenter
- Minimum five years of experience in residential remodeling with window and door replacement experience.
- Finish carpentry experience.
- Is prepared to lead projects with basic onboarding and training shortly after starting.
- Has experience with and is knowledgeable about Marvin window and door products.
Applicable for all positions listed:
- Full time and year round.
- Requires employees to have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Will offer compensation relative to applicant’s experience, productivity, and responsibilities.
- Work schedule is 9/80 during a two week pay period, every other Friday is off.
- On site training available and encouraged for employees interested in advancing skills and career in finish carpentry and window and door installation.
