Rental Property Cleaner / Painter

Full time and part time applicants will be considered.

The Rental Property Cleaner / Painter is responsible for performing a variety of hands-on duties related to the cleaning and upkeep of rental properties. This is an entry level position with a small company which offers room for growth and advancement.

The successful candidate will be able to:

Work quickly and efficiently while following specific instructions as they relate to job duties.

Work closely with company office staff in order to coordinate schedules and prioritize available work while communicating the current status of jobs.

Display effective problem solving skills, and work well under pressure.

Display an ability to work independently, and remain on-task in order to accomplish a variety of duties on a busy schedule. Duties may include, but are not limited to any of the following: garbage and rubbish disposal, cleaning and sanitization of rental units; including windows, appliances, light fixtures, clean up of commons areas at apartment complexes, painting, basic and small-scale maintenance issues if discovered.

Display effective time-management, organization, and scheduling skills with the ability to turn in comprehensive and legible work orders on a daily basis.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED.

Work history in cleaning or janitorial work. Work with rental properties in particular preferred but not required.

Professional verbal and written communication skills. Speak and understand English well. A bilingual candidate would be beneficial.

Provide their own tools such as ladders, vacuums, and mops. Sharp Property Management will provide consumables such as cleaning solutions, paper towels, and paint rollers.

Demonstrate efficient, detail oriented painting skills.

Must work well individually and as a team when needed for complex issues.

Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and reliable transportation.

Flexible, hours Monday through Friday. Extended hours may be required. Must have an understanding the work load varies but is generally heaviest the beginning of each month.

Prefer that the candidate live within the vicinity of Longview and Kelso, WA.

Job sites will vary time may be split between vacant rental units, and common areas of apartment complexes. Occasionally work may require accessing an occupied unit with prior tenant authorization.

Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
