Both of our offices (Boise, ID + Vancouver, WA) are currently recruiting for
Polished Concrete Foreman & Field Leaders.
CONSURCO has a 20+ year history of delivering amazing projects with its 65+ dedicated team members, project managers and support staff between our Boise / Meridian, ID and Portland / Vancouver, WA offices.
Working with facility owners, general contractors, architects and engineers across all market sectors, including commercial, industrial, and government facilities across the Western States.
Projects range from 10k to 100k SF, and 1 week to several months.
Our primary scopes of work include polished concrete, sealed concrete, stain/dye application, decorative topping slabs and floor demolition.
Virtually all work is indoors and is not subject to the typical seasonality of construction work.
To keep up with the steady year over year growth, and with the latest techniques and technology we invest in both internal training and external training with strategic suppliers and manufactures. The successful candidate –
Possess excellent communication skills, ability to stay organized, and have a generally positive outlook.
Collaborate with our Project Managers and OPS Director to achieve company motto of “Done Right the 1st Time”
Able to work independently and lead a crew of typically 4 to 8 installers of varying levels of experience
Verifiable experience leading crews or being the 2nd in charge of a larger crew installing polished concrete, sealed concrete, stain/dye application, decorative topping slabs and floor demolition.
Experience with multiple component floor coating systems, underlayment, and overlayment is a bonus
Ability to lead and teach complex installation procedures and be very detail oriented
Understand how to operate and maintain our state of the art specialty equipment and diamond abrasives
Reading and comprehending written and verbal directions, including material safety data sheets (MSDS), product data sheets, installation procedures, construction drawings and equipment operating manuals
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, problem solving skills and pride in the quality of work performed
Be in good physical condition – walking, standing, bending, kneeling to access work areas and perform tasks - able to lift and carry over 75lbs
Bilingual / English & Spanish is valued but not required.
