The Columbian has newspaper delivery routes available to help with your household income.
Please read below for details.
Successful contractors are mature and dependable people that have a reliable vehicle with a valid WA driver's license and auto insurance. (The vehicle must be able to handle the size and volume of the large Sunday newspapers. Contractors must be able to lift bundles weighing up to 25lbs and be able to exit their vehicle multiple times over several hours. Newspaper delivery has proved to be a good fit for stay-at-home parents, retirees, or other people looking to supplement household income with early morning work.
All newspaper routes are 6-day early morning delivery with multiple publications. The ability to rise and be ready to work in the early morning hours is essential. Most routes take 2-3 hours to complete and usually begin between 1:00-1:30AM. However, start time may vary. Legible handwriting and basic math skills are required. Previous delivery experience is helpful and you must reside in Clark County. Must be at least 18 years old to become a contractor. Flexible, no long-term commitment. Contract duration up to 12 months. Possible renewal opportunity at contract expiration.
Compensation is calculated on the number of deliveries (per piece) with most routes earning over $1,000 per month. Starter routes may earn less per month. However, they are an exceptional way to see if newspaper delivery is a good fit for you. Then, move to a larger, more profitable route when the time is right for you.
