Concrete Curb & Sidewalk Machine Operator – Power Curber 5700-D Max
Position Overview:
We’re seeking a highly skilled Power Curber 5700-D Max Operator to join our paving crew. This role involves operating one of the most advanced slipform machines in the industry to install concrete curbs, sidewalks, and specialty profiles with precision and efficiency. If you’re experienced with curb & gutter work and thrive in fast-paced environments, we want you on our team!
Key Responsibilities:
Operate the Power Curber 5700-D Max to pour curbs, sidewalks, barriers, and other concrete profiles
Set up and calibrate SlipSmart controls for accurate alignment, slope, and radius steering
Install curb-forming molds and monitor concrete flow and vibration settings
Maintain machine performance and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues
Collaborate with site supervisors and crew to meet project specs and timelines
Ensure safety compliance and quality control throughout operations
Qualifications:
Operating slipform curb machines (Power Curber experience preferred)
Strong understanding of concrete mix behavior, site grading, and layout
Familiarity with Topcon, Leica, or Trimble 3D control systems is a plus
Ability to read blueprints and site plans is a plus
CDL or valid driver’s license required
Mechanically inclined with attention to detail and safety
Location: Wilsonville OR
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay Range: $25–$35/hour (DOE) depends on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, occasional weekends
