Landscape East & West is a full-service award winning, eco-friendly, customer focused landscape contractor. We are seeking Foremen and Crew Members for our Commercial Maintenance Department for our Hillsboro location. Must be 18 years or older.
Hiring Bonus after 120 Days
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work with crew of 2-4
- Communicate effectively with management and customers.
- Perform all aspects of landscape care for accounts on your assigned route including mowing, edging, hand pruning, shearing, weeding, raking, leaf clean-up, irrigation, fertilizer application, and other necessary duties in contract.
- Operate various types of maintenance equipment using safe practices (various mowers, edger's, blowers, hedge trimmers, pruners, and hand tools)
Qualifications Foreman:
- 3+ years experience in landscape maintenance
- Ability to manage, communicate effectively with both employees and onsite contacts.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
- Ability to lead crew through maintenance route and take directions and receive feedback from supervisor
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, maneuver through client's property with equipment, and operate truck and trailer
- Have a valid driver's license
Qualifications Crew Member:
-1 year of landscape maintenance or outdoor work experience preferred
- Hard worker
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, maneuver through client's property with equipment
- Dependable
This is a 4 day per week, 10 hour per day position with occasional overtime.
Work week is Tuesday - Friday
