We are the Tidy Gnomes, a POC/Queer/Women owned cleaning and organizing company in Portland. We provide high quality, detailed and eco-friendly cleaning and household support done with a lot of love. We like to make a positive impact in our community and also donate free cleans to BIPOC folks who can't usually afford this kind of service. We are looking for kind and enthusiastic people with an eye for detail to join our close knit team.

-confidence to take a cluttered room and tidy it up
-see details (baseboards, cat hair on couches, cobwebs in the corners of the ceilings)
-initiative (move on to the next task when you've finished one or ask for clarification if you're not sure)
-comfortable asking for help, guidance, and support
-comfortable getting feedback and tips about how to do something better or more efficient
-ability to do multiple hours of physical work, squatting, reaching, scrubbing
We provide regular hourly pay increases. All gnomes receive a W-2.
Some of our benefits are health insurance, paid time off, paid sick time, retirement savings account, monthly massages, birthday pay. We provide all eco-friendly supplies and snacks.
Compensation:
-While training: $18/hr + 100% of Tips.
Daily mileage reimbursement and paid drive time at same hourly rate as cleaning.
-After training: starting at $19/hr ( depending on experience ) + 100% of your Tips.

We are currently looking for someone with access to a smartphone and a a reliable car. Must be able to pass a background check and have car insurance and a valid driver's license. Current position we are looking to fill has a morning start time.
COVID-19: We have worked with safety professionals to develop systems and protocols to make sure that we are taking all the necessary precautions to stay safe and healthy. It is our priority to be responsible and to make sure that we are doing our part to keep you and everyone involved safe.
