We’re looking for an experienced Construction Worker to join the Greg Lee Construction team. The ideal candidate will be hardworking, dedicated, and knowledgeable.
Part time for first 90 days (20-30 hours) moving to full-time.
Construction Worker Job Summary
Employee will be on job site performing numerous construction tasks. This will include: framing, concrete, asphalt, carpentry, roofing, siding, and much more.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
General construction experience.
Ability to take direction.
Ability to work independently.
Must be friendly and “people-oriented”
Carpentry experience
Experience driving trucks and vans. (No CDL required)
Experience mixing and pouring of concrete.
Comfortable loading and unloading materials. (frequently in excess of 50lbs)
Comfortable with heights. (ladders, roofs, etc)
Ability to read a tape measure.
Knowledge and use of various construction tools.
Basic math skills.
Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
Valid Driver's License required.
Basic Duties
Framing and siding carpentry work.
Loading and unloading construction materials.
Driving work van/truck to and from job site.
Cleaning and preparing job site.
Mixing and pouring concrete.
Measuring, cutting, and shaping materials like wood, drywall, and rebar.
Install of siding and windows.
Performing maintenance on all equipment.
Following health and safety regulations.
Digging holes and trenches.
Leveling concrete.
Creating forms for frames and concrete pouring.
Working in varying weather conditions.
Working on feet all day.
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation will be $25 to $30 per hour.
