AAA Oregon / Idaho is looking for a Fleet Maintenance Technician to join the team!

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Fleet Maintenance Technician to join our team and contribute to our mission of excellence.

The Fleet Technician is responsible for the upkeep, inspection, and repair of our fleet vehicles. This role involves diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring all vehicles are compliant with safety standards.

Days / Hours: Monday – Friday / Day shift

Location: Tualatin Fleet (with Regular travel to Portland Fleet)

Pay: $30-35/hour

Requirements

Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Entry level set of personal tools.

Clear and proficient verbal and written communication.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical attendance at the job site is an essential duty.

Must always maintain professionalism.

Preferred skills and certifications

5+ years related automotive maintenance, repair, and diagnostic experience.

Experience as Medium-Heavy Truck Technician.

EPA Section 609 Technician Training and Certification (Air conditioning).

If not certified, obtain certification within 1 year of hire.

ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) A1 – A8 certifications.

If not certified, obtain certifications within 1 year of hire.

Technical training in diesel medium-heavy trucks.

Other position conditions and/or physical demands:

Lifting and carrying equipment weighing up to 75 pounds.

Balancing, bending, and kneeling.

Position requires physical ability to operate and drive several types of trucks.

Position is exposed to noise and changes in temperature.
