They provide a combination of value-added technical services, engineering, consultation, and quality products to various markets. They provide mission-critical equipment to a wide variety of industries.
Summary
The HR Specialist is an entry-level position with growth opportunities in a rapidly growing company in the NW. They would be responsible for supporting the day-to-day procedures and processes assigned by the HR Manager in conjunction with the HR/Payroll team from the corporate level, which includes benefits liaison for our employees and our benefit providers, HR/Payroll projects, as well as being a back up to our payroll function and other administrative duties as assigned.
Essential Job Duties
Responsible for the document controls and electronic distribution of personnel files for all active and terminated employees.
Assist the HR/Payroll team on projects – implementing a new HRIS system, learning system, leave programs, etc.
Backup for processes and procedures within the HR/Payroll function—responsible for the manual check process from the corporate office.
Benefits liaison for employees and benefit providers
Assist employees on time-entry and use of the HRIS system
Qualifications
Minimum two years of experience in a payroll, accounting or human resources functional role
Organized and excellent time management skills
Strong attention to detail
Customer service attitude
Works well in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or human resources
Experience in implementing an ERP/Payroll/HRIS system
Pay: Up to $26/hr depending on skills and qualifications.
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
