Macadam Dental is a modern dental office that believes in open communication, a commitment to quality, and providing excellent long term dental health. We are a family practice offering preventative and cosmetic dentistry. Dr.'s Kevin & Jodi Morich and Dr. Jenny Lee strive to assist each patient in achieving and maintaining a healthy, beautiful smile.

Our practice, Macadam Dental, is excited to be adding an additional RDH to our wonderful team in our brand new, expanded facility! The ideal candidate would be an outgoing, friendly, team player that is motivated to join our already fabulous group; which does include therapy dogs.

The practice is committed to excellent long-term dental care & creating a positive patient experience. We provide dental services to all ages and do offer pediatric accommodations. Our office is located in South Portland off of Macadam Ave in the Johns Landing area.

Our practice hours are Monday - Thursday 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM & Fridays 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM. We are currently seeking an additional hygienist to join our team on Tuesdays & Wednesdays. There is a possibility that additional days could become available if interested. Arrival time would be estimated to be 7: 00AM allowing time for a brief morning meeting.

Responsibilities including but not limited to:

- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, scaling, and polishing- Acquire dental x-rays- Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate treatment recommendations- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment

Requirements:

- Valid state dental hygiene license- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills - Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices
