Part time dentist 2 days a week

A well-established private office is looking for a part time Dental Associate for 2 days a week. We seek a skilled and compassionate dentist who could provide great quality dental care to our patients, has good bedside manner, and share similar philosophy of our practice. Our mission statement: "We treat our patients like our family members. We are committed to provide the optimal dental care in the most comfortable, friendly, transparent, and non-judgmental environment."

We are a FFS private office with one single doctor, one hygiene from Mondays to Fridays. Our doctor is planning cut down hours due to family reasons.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care: Perform a full range of dental procedures including exams, fillings, crowns, bridges, extractions, and preventive care. You might have to do some cleanings due to the shortage of hygienist.

Treatment Planning: Collaborate with patients to develop personalized treatment plans based on their unique needs and goals.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and comprehensive dental records for all patients, adhering to confidentiality and compliance standards.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with dental assistants, hygienists, office staff, and local specialists to ensure a smooth and positive patient experience.

Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including infection control, OSHA, and HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications:

Educational Requirements: Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited dental school.

Licensure: Active and clean dental license in Oregon.

Experience: 1-2 years of experience as a general dentist is strongly preferred, though those with less experience may be considered.

Skills: Excellent diagnostic, clinical, and communication skills; a caring and patient-focused approach with a friendly and lighthearted demeanor
