Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, motivated Medical Scribe / Administrative Assistant to support our providers by improving workflow efficiency, ensuring accurate documentation, and assisting with administrative tasks. This is a part-time position ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a desire to contribute meaningfully to patient care.
Responsibilities:
Accurately and thoroughly document patient visits and procedures in real-time under the direction of the physician.
Use appropriate medical shorthand, specialty-specific acronyms, and terminology.
Review patient history and notes prior to visits; complete all notes
Make necessary updates to patient history and medical records as directed by the physician.
Coordinate visits and communicate effectively with patients.
Assist with administrative tasks to support providers and keep the office running smoothly.
Flexibly take on additional duties as needed to support clinic operations.
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Team player with a positive attitude, flexibility, and a high level of integrity.
Excellent spoken and written English skills.
Efficient typing with solid grammar and spelling.
Computer literate; familiarity with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems.
Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.
