I'm looking for one part-time (16-20 hours) in-person assistant to work in an integrative medical clinic in SE Portland (Richmond / Mt Tabor neighborhood). Job training to start ASAP, in person, on Mondays, Wed, & Sat 9-1; and Tues and Thursdays 11-5 through October. Then, in November, schedule will switch to Mondays & Fridays likely 1-5 and Tuesdays & Thursdays 9-1.
I'm a naturopathic physician specializing in integrative mental health; utilizing various hands-on modalities including neurofeedback (which I'd train you how to use). I would create all the treatment plans and you'd administer the treatment. Main conditions / diagnoses that I treat: complex PTSD, various mental health diagnoses like anxiety & depression; ADHD, executive dysfunction; concussions / traumatic brain injuries. I work with children & adults.
I'm QTBIPOC and a decent portion of my patient population is queer and/or BIPOC. Priority given to someone with these shared lived, first-person experiences / identities.
Clinic is on 2nd story of 2-story eco-friendly building; that has an elevator. Must be able to sit quietly and calmly during patient appointment time, then move about the clinic room to set up and administer various treatments, some of which require standing. No heavy lifting required.
Certification as medical assistant NOT required.
Payment via payroll;
$22-24/hr; no benefits
