The position is part-time, working Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday from 7:15 – 3:45. The most important qualities we seek are an abundance of positive energy, mental acuity, a zeal for patient care, a strong sense for detail, and the ability to communicate comfortably and effectively with all kinds of people, all while maintaining compassion and empathy for our patients. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Preparing patients for the health care visit by taking vital signs
-Entering patient information into EMR
-Authorizing drug refills as directed
-Anticipating and obtaining needed information for patient visits
-Taking patient calls
-Perform follow up duties in a timely manner
Requirements:
-Certification Preferred
-Experience working as a Medical Assistant Preferred
-Experience with EMR Preferred
-Ability to establish priorities and excel at tasks, working both independently and as a team member
-Ability to maintain a positive outlook and accuracy while under pressure
-Punctual and reliable
