Dental Surgery Office Coordinator

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and dedicated Dental Surgery Office Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our dental surgery office, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Scheduling and Coordination: Manage patient appointments, including booking, rescheduling, and confirming appointments. Coordinate surgery schedules with dental surgeons and other staff members.

Administrative Duties: Maintain patient records, handle billing, insurance claims, and collections, and manage office supplies and equipment. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.

Patient Care: Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing their concerns and ensuring they have a positive experience. Assist patients with pre- and post-operative instructions and follow-up appointments.

Communication: Act as a liaison between patients, dental surgeons, and other staff members. Facilitate clear and effective communication to ensure a cohesive and efficient office environment.

Office Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office, including maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Implement office policies and procedures to improve efficiency and patient care.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.

Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting is highly desirable.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in dental office software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Detail-oriented with a strong focus on patient care and satisfaction.
