We are looking for someone who thrives in a supportive, team-driven atmosphere and can contribute to our positive culture while managing the vital aspects of patient care and insurance coordination.

Job Overview: The Dental Patient Care and Insurance Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing insurance claims, patient relations, and day-to-day operations of our office. This individual will be the first point of contact for patients regarding insurance inquiries and treatment plans, ensuring smooth, efficient, and transparent communication between the practice, patients, and insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities:

Insurance Claims Processing: Submit and track dental insurance claims, ensuring timely and accurate reimbursement.

Insurance Verification & Benefit Coordination: Contact insurance carriers and patients to verify benefits and ensure accurate coverage details are provided.

Billing Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, working with insurance companies and patients to address and correct issues.

Patient Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for patient inquiries regarding insurance benefits, claims, and treatment plans.

Treatment Plan Presentation: Assist patients in understanding their treatment plans, explaining insurance coverage and out-of-pocket costs to ensure transparency.

Administrative Support: Manage scheduling, patient records, and day-to-day administrative duties to ensure smooth practice operations.

Customer Service Excellence: Provide excellent customer service, creating a welcoming and caring atmosphere for all patients, both in person and over the phone.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with the dental team, including the dentist and hygienists, to ensure cohesive patient care and practice success.
