Milwaukie General Practice Dental Office is searching for a positive, professional Dental Hygienist (RDH) with excellent communication skills and detail-oriented focus to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position must be proficient in all standards of hygiene care training and Excellent organizational skills to manage patient records and documentation efficiently. Works well in a team, with laughter, enthusiasm and consideration of others.
Duties will include:
-Patient rapport, educate, and engage the patient in partnering to maintain oral health.
-Prophylactic cleanings of adults and children, SRP treatment
-Assisting with doctor exams.
-Diagnosing periodontal disease and educating patients on the disease process.
-Entering dental charting and recordkeeping into computer system.
-Scheduling
-Setting up and tearing down own operatory.
-Providing maintenance and sterilizing of hygiene operatory equipment.
-Sanitizing and restocking operatories.
-Taking digital X-rays and intraoral photos.
-Reviewing charts in preparation for next day's patients.
-Effectively communicating with front office staff.
-General office support
Qualifications:
-Current Oregon Dental Hygiene License (RDH)
- BLS/CPR Certification
-Local Anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide
Office days and hours
Tuesday/Friday 7am-4pm, Thursday 8am-5pm
Wage $55-65
Part-time This position is currently for 1-3 days a week
