I am looking for a caregiver for my small AFH in east vancouver. Pay is a shift rate per 24 hour shift, depending on experience and license with guaranteed 8 hours of sleep. (16 hours of the shift is worked and paid, 8 hours is not, you do get paid more if you get woke up at night) working 2 shifts for me is almost equal to driving everyday 5 days a week to regular 8 hour shift job. This type of position isn’t for everyone but for my employees they love it as it gives them time during the week to pursue other things.
You sleep onsite. Meals provided.
We can provide free CNA classes and all specialty certificates for free for the right motivated employee. I currently have I have 2-3 -24 hour shifts available each week. With possibility of more in the future. And extra shifts available for sick and vacation coverage. Job includes patient care of up to 6 elderly residents, cleaning, organizing, med pass and cooking, interacting with the elderly, families and outside providers. Fun home like environment. I am looking for someone kind, reliable, drama free and strong work ethic, I can teach you everything else. Start training immediately. Not vaccinated? That is OK!
