PART-TIME BAKERY ASSISTANT – 1–2 DAYS/WEEK (NO NIGHTS OR WEEKENDS!)
We’re a small commercial bakery looking for a part-time assistant to join our team! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on, physical work and wants to be part of a laid-back but hardworking environment.
We are not a retail bakery — we don’t serve customers or operate a storefront. We focus strictly on production and wholesale orders, making cheesecakes, dessert bars, and cookies in mass quantities. Our work is repetitive, and the same core products are made week after week — so there’s no room for creativity or recipe experimentation. If you like routine and consistency, this could be a great fit.
JOB DETAILS:
Schedule: 1–2 days per week
Typical Hours: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Flexibility: Our schedule depends on weekly orders — some weeks are busier, some are slower
No nights, no weekends, no early mornings
JOB INCLUDES:
Hand-pouring batters and pressing product into pans
Using machines to cut and portion products
Running packaging equipment
Cleaning (dishwasher, garbage, general upkeep)
Lifting and moving buckets, pans, and boxes (usually 15–20 lbs, sometimes more)
Standing, bending, squatting, and being on your feet the whole shift
Sanitation is important — gloves, hairnets, aprons, and handwashing are required (so no nose-picking and cookie-grabbing
