PART TIME POSITIONS.
We are looking for an immediate position to fill. We are looking for a fast food cashier. We have a basic POS system that can be learned very quickly. We are looking for someone to work 3 or 4 days a week. In the summer, we have many shifts to cover as our employees have vacations planned. Therefore, more hours will be available. This is a fast paced restaurant but also a good, fun atmosphere, at least that is what we strive for.
We are a local family owned fast food restaurant that has over 30 years of tradition at this location. We are willing and do not have a problem paying our employees a good wage. We are only open Monday thru Saturday during the day. Therefore we only can offer day time hours at this point. With an adequate staff, we would like to extend our hours.
We are located at 1760 NE Lombard Ct, Portland, OR 97211. For a general area, we on 17th and NE Columbia Blvd about 5 minutes from Portland International Raceway and Delta Park. Our restaurant is called Roake's.
We have a video poker room and we serve beer. You will need a food handler's Card and an OLCC server permit but you DO NOT need those right now to apply for this position.
We expect our employees to be friendly with people, clean, honest, in good health so you can perform the daily tasks, well groomed and on time and NOT under the influence of drugs or alcohol. I repeat, and on time.

We pay our new employees at $17 per hour, plus cash tips and free meals during shifts. That averages out to about $22 per hour. If you have a great deal of restaurant experience, we are willing to offer you more money after your first 2 weeks of showing us how great you are.
Our ultimate goal is to find a manager or an assistant manager that we can trust so there is room for advancement with us.
