GENERAL DUTIES:
Prepare and serve food items. Perform inventory tracking and assist with ordering. Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or its equivalent
Proficient oral and written communication skills in English
Proficient in the use of computer and Internet based applications, including but not limited to email and systems applications
Hold a valid Food Handlers certification
One year of experience in food service
Experience in the use and maintenance of industrial kitchen equipment
Knowledge of ingredients, supplies and methods used in cooking
Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety regulations for chemical use in the kitchen
Knowledge of food safety standards
This position provides support to the meal program at Glencoe High School. Food Handlers card and prior foodservice experience required, Experience in K12 food service preferred.
