Description:Actalent is looking to hire multiple Quality Engineers to support local client manufacturing sites. One of the positions may present an opportunity to grow and transition into a Quality Manager within a year or two.Responsibilities (may include, but not limited to):
Manage both internal and customer claims
Ensure inspection of products and processes of manufacturing in accordance with established plans
Participate in continuous improvement projects & problem-solving activities
Involvement over all Quality personnel having proper training and associated documentation evidence that supports it
Participate in product & process audits
Maintain inspection records, daily technical support and monitoring of inspection activities, including data collection
Prepare required documentation packages to support Internal Quality Audits and follow-up of open/pending Corrective Actions
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelors Degree - Engineering highly preferred, but Business or other may suffice depending on associated work experience
Ideally 5+ years as a quality engineering professional within an industrial/manufacturing environment; 3+ years may suffice
Quality standards background , specifically AS9100/9102 and/or ISO 13485, and proven track record of creating and managing proper quality and process documentation
Experience supporting or conducting internal quality audits
Experience in root cause, corrective action plans
Continuous improvement, Six Sigma, and/or Lean foundation
