The role will oversee the technology platform vendor and work closely with the operations team and the vendor to improve the platform for a better consumer experience. The role will provide day-to-day oversight of the vendor by leading meetings and managing relationships, monitoring performance, directing the user acceptance testing (UAT) efforts for OHIM, reviewing operational defects, and developing and maintaining the product roadmap. The position will also supervise OHIM UAT testers. Other duties include: Build subject matter expertise in platform functionality Prioritize maintenance and operations defects with the Case Management team Gather data on customer issues and trends to present to the OHIM Chief Operating Officer Advise and oversee implementation of policy on the CoverME.gov platform Suggest projects for prioritization on the product roadmap to OHIM leadership Documenting and prioritizing business requirements Manage annual open enrollment simulation activities Work closely with OHIM’s external partners like the Office for Family Independence, Maine OIT, Bureau of Insurance on product and operational enhancements and compliance activities Serve as OHIM’s lead user acceptance testing (UAT) tester Train OHIM staff to complete user acceptance testing (UAT) Provide final approval on any releases to production platforms Other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications:A Bachelor’s Degree in Health Administration, Business, Computer Science or a closely related field and four (4) years professional experience in the planning, developing, coordinating and/or evaluating technology projects -OR- an equivalent eight (8) year combination of education, training, and experience. Experience in system testing highly preferred. Certifications in product management or project management preferred.
