Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Medical Data Entry Clerk in the Healthcare industry. The role is based out of Portland, Maine, United States. As a Medical Data Entry Clerk, you will be tasked with maintaining and updating medical records, processing data, and ensuring the smooth running of administrative operations.Responsibilities: Efficiently convert medical and billing records from paper to the EMR system. Exhibit strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Take responsibility for scanning, filing, and shredding historical documents. Assist in managing backlogged medical records and ensure their accurate entry into the system. Handle paper filing, organization, and document management tasks. Ensure the maintenance of accurate customer credit records. Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency.Requirements Proficiency in Data Entry is necessary, with a keen focus on accuracy and speed. Familiarity with EMR - Electronic Medical Records is essential due to the nature of the role.
