We save lives while providing the opportunity for people to realize their healthy selves.Group FacilitatorMonte Nido Eating Disorder Center of PortlandPortland, ORMonte Nido Eating Disorder Center of Portland, located in Portland, OR is a primary eating disorder day treatment program exclusively for aadults seeking treatment for Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction. Through partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programming, clients participate in group and individual therapy, benefit from Monte Nido’s clinical, medical, psychiatric and nutritional expertise and experience real life challenges.We are seeking a part-time Group Facilitator to join our Clinical Team.Mondays/Fridays during the day or evening IOP availability throughout the weekThe Group Facilitator is responsible for facilitating and implementing group sessions. The goal is for the facilitator to create a safe environment so that all patients feel comfortable in sharing about emotional difficulties. Facilitate group sessions.

Facilitate interaction between group members.

Maintain awareness of individual client's needs.

Facilitate identification and congruent expression of feelings.

Document group sessions including patients’ progress or lack thereof, problems, concerns and mental status.

Follow the format and requirements within the program.

Ensure that all documentation related to the provision of direct patient services is completed in a timely manner and in accordance with established policies and procedures and state standards.

Develop and maintain positive working relationships with staff, interns, management and other professional colleagues.

Attend mandatory training and in-service collaborations.

Qualifications:

Must be actively working on master’s degree in social work, psychology or related human services field

Licensed (or license-eligible) in a counseling field (e.g., Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, etc.).

Prior experience treating those with eating disorders in a residential or inpatient setting is very helpful.

Knowledge of diversity, equity and inclusion practices
