Description We are offering a remote Graphic Design project for a company based in Portland, Oregon. This project involves taking an existing map and formatting it to match a new style, as well as adding in new fields and a company logo. The goal will be to make the map into a PDF that can then be used on the website and for other documents. This role falls under a short-term contract engagement. The Graphic Designer will use their skills in design and Adobe Creative Cloud to deliver the project within the agreed timeline.Responsibilities: Collaborate with the client to understand their vision and requirements for the stylized map. Use your expertise in Graphic Design and Adobe Creative Cloud to create and design the map. Ensure the map is visually appealing and meets the client's specifications. Manage your time effectively to complete the project within the 2-3 weeks timeline. Communicate regularly with the client and team, providing updates and receiving feedback. Maintain professionalism and adhere to company guidelines throughout the project. Troubleshoot any design issues that may arise during the project. Ensure the final design is optimized for the intended use. Review and make necessary revisions to the design based on client feedback. Deliver the final design to the client within the agreed deadline.Requirements Applicants must hold a minimum of 3 years' experience in a Graphic Design role or a related field. Proficiency in Graphic Design is essential for this position. Candidates must have extensive knowledge and practical experience with Adobe Creative Cloud. A relevant degree in Graphic Design or a related field is highly desirable. Excellent visual design skills with a strong portfolio demonstrating this. Ability to interpret and translate company needs into design. Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Excellent time management skills and ability to meet project deadlines. A proactive attitude towards learning and improving design skills. Knowledge and experience with web design is a plus.
