Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in Portland, Oregon, United States. In this role, you will assist a local manufacturing client in the day-to-day financial functions, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Reconciliations, Journal Entries, and Sales Tax. Responsibilities: Assist in maintaining financial records and ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded Handle the complete AP/AR process, including invoice processing, payment processing, and balance reconciliation Prepare reconciliations of bank statements, credit cards, and all balance sheet accounts Prepare and post journal entries and ensure the accuracy of information Handle sales tax obligations of the company Utilize Accounting Software Systems and Microsoft Office Suites for daily tasks Ensure compliance with all internal processes and financial regulations Leverage Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting Utilize ADP - Financial Services for payroll processing Perform other bookkeeping duties as required. Requirements Proficient in Accounting Software Systems Familiar with ADP - Financial Services Skilled in Microsoft Excel Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites Ability to use Microsoft Outlook effectively Understanding of Accounting Functions Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) procedures Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) processes Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations Capable of handling Billing Functions Skilled in Bookkeeping procedures Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
