Description We are offering a role for a Project Assistant in the telecom industry in Portland, OR. This role involves supporting our customer service operations, including handling customer inquiries and managing customer data. The position requires the ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities: Handling high-volume incoming support calls, chats, emails, and online cases from customers Assisting customers in setting up Customer Portal and resolving access issues Updating customer data, including contact information and pertinent software details Directing calls to other departments for any case owners outside of the customer support team Helping customers, sales, and project management in expediting cases when needed Completing assigned projects as needed Scheduling appointments for customer deployment of our software Managing bounced emails to keep contact information current Processing customer credit applications accurately and efficiently Maintaining accurate customer credit records Monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.Requirements Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word Experience in project management, including scheduling and coordinating tasks Proficiency in customer service and support, including handling inbound and outbound calls Ability to perform data entry tasks with accuracy and attention to detail Familiarity with office functions and operations Experience in sales, including customer interaction, product knowledge, and closing deals Ability to supervise teams and manage workload effectively Knowledge of CRM systems for managing customer interactions Demonstrated ability to assist customers, providing service and support as needed Demonstrated ability to work with vendors in a professional manner Knowledge of internet and video tools for communication and research Experience in the construction industry is a plus Proficiency in using the 'About Time' software for time tracking Willingness to provide workstation support as needed Demonstrated commitment to regular attendance Proficiency in due diligence activities and understanding of legal requirements Familiarity with module deployments in a project management context Ability to handle phone presence professionally and effectively.
