Caregiving for an adult male with intellectual developmental disabilities - he is non-verbal and lives in his own apartment. He loves to read picture books and spend time in his recliner. We are looking for full time or part time caregivers to start ASAP - we have Day (8am-4pm) and Swing (4pm-12am) Available! We can train you!
If you don’t have experience as a caregiver, we are happy to train you until you are comfortable on the job.
Our company has a full management team (HR, etc.) to make sure that you are supported in your work.
Compensation:
Paid Time Off and Sick Time Off included, plus reimbursement pay for using your phone to view your schedule.
$17.50 - $19.50/hr after training period, depending on experience - advancement raises available!
Further caregiving applicable degrees and certificates will be considered during the interview process!
Job description:
Companionship
Light housekeeping
Light cooking
Lots of fun activities with your client including walks in the park, shopping, movies etc.
Bathing, dressing, and toileting assistance
Medication assistance and/or administration.
Qualifications:
18 years old or older
Reliable transportation
Ability to be punctual coming to work
Ability to pass a background check
Proficiency reading, writing, and speaking English
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 25 pounds
