Job Summary The Brand Manager will be responsible for developing and executing brand strategies to drive brand equity and awareness, including oversight of Public Relations, Media Relations and Social Media. This role requires a creative thinker with strong analytical skills, capable of successfully managing matrixed teams and collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve brand objectives. Essential Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies in alignment with organizational goals.

Conduct research and competitor analysis to identify brand opportunities and trends.

Gather and analyze consumer insights, feedback, and market trends to inform brand decisions.

Use data to refine brand strategies and messaging.

Define and maintain a clear and consistent brand positioning in the market. Develop and refine brand messaging to resonate with target audiences.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, design, digital and marketing segment leads to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints.

Provide brand guidance and support for enterprise design deliverables .

In collaboration with creative services leadership, oversee the development and maintenance of brand visuals.

Ensure adherence to brand guidelines.

Conduct brand audits and provide recommendations for improvement.

Plan, execute, and evaluate integrated brand campaigns across various channels (digital, print, social, etc.).

Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies for optimal results.

Identify and evaluate potential brand partnerships and collaborations that align with brand values and objectives.

Negotiate and manage partnerships to maximize brand exposure and reach.

Develop and manage the brand budget, allocating resources efficiently to meet brand objectives.

Monitor spending and report on budget utilization.

Employee Supervision

Manage team(s) and recommend team direction and goals in alignment with the organizational mission, vision, and values.

Identify work and staffing needs to meet work expectations; recruit and hire, using an equity, diversity, and inclusion lens.

Plan, organize, schedule, and monitor work; ensure employees have information and resources to meet job expectations.

Lead the development, communication, and oversight of team and individual goals; ensure goals, expectations, and standards are clearly understood by staff.

Train, supervise, motivate, and coach employees; provide support toward employee development.

Incorporate guidance from CareOregon equity tools into people leadership, planning, operations, evaluation, and decision making.

Ensure team adheres to department and organizational standards, policies, and procedures.

Evaluate employee performance and provides regular feedback to support success; recognize strong performance and address performance gaps and accountability (corrective action).

Perform supervisory tasks in collaboration with Human Resources as needed.

Experience and/or Education

Required

Minimum 5 years’ experience in brand management with proven track record of building and maintaining successful brands

Preferred

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory position

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field

Health care experience

Agency experience

Brand Management, Public Relations and/or Social Media Certification

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

Knowledge

Strong knowledge and skills in Brand Management, Public Relations and Social Media

Knowledge of brand measurement concepts and principles

Skills and Abilities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills

Excellent computer skills including use of Office productivity tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills

Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills

Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and groups

Ability to learn, focus, understand, and evaluate information and determine appropriate actions

Ability to accept direction and feedback, as well as tolerate and manage stress

Ability to see, read, and perform repetitive finger and wrist movement for at least 6 hours/day

Ability to hear and speak clearly for at least 3-6 hours/day
