DescriptionRemote Biostatistician for Providence Oregon Regional Shared Services in Portland, OR.Full-Time/Day ShiftThe biostatistician independently designs, analyzes, and writes reports on statistical analysis of research data generated by Providence researches. Projects are typically mid-size with moderate skill level. Position will develop and oversee statistical functions including the design and analysis of pre-clinical experiments, clinical trials, outcomes research, grant preparation, authoring scientific and clinical publications, and implementing statistical methodologies. Interacts and consults with scientists to ensure proper use of statistical methodology and interpretation of results. Programs statistical software packages to improve efficiency of projects. Responsible for performing and interpreting statistical analysis on numerous clinical data sets, database management, and consultation on research. Master's Degree Biostatistics or related field.
4 years Biostatistician experience.
4 years of experience with statistical analysis software and performing cluster analysis for study design/sample size estimations and analysis of study results. Expert knowledge of statistical analysis and scientific methods.
