Description Charlie Gilmur with Robert Half is offering an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team located in Portland, Oregon. This role plays a crucial part in our daily accounting operations and requires a high level of detail orientation and multitasking abilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for multiple accounting duties, from invoice management to account reconciliation, in our fast-paced environment.Responsibilities: Manage multi-location reporting to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Enter invoices and vendor statements into the accounting system. Ensure timely payments of invoices in accordance with credit terms. Communicate appropriately and as needed with vendors to resolve any discrepancies. Reconcile vendor accounts to ensure all data is up to date. Prepare and post journal entries into the general ledger system. Support month-end closing processes to ensure all transactions are recorded. File documents in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring easy retrieval when needed. Assist in other areas as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork. Job Order: 03600-0012975316Requirements Must have a firm understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) processes Proficiency in General Ledger management is essential Demonstrated ability in Account Reconciliation Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in all tasks Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Good organizational and time-management abilities Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively High level of integrity and trustworthiness Must have a commitment to ongoing learning and continuous improvement.
