Responsibilities:

Greet patients and provide exceptional customer service

Schedule appointments and manage the front office

Organize and maintain clinic paperwork, medical claims, charts, and patient files

Conduct patient outreach, including reminder calls and rescheduling, following clinic procedures

Handle accounts receivable: process payments, manage balances, and prepare invoices

Oversee claims billing management: report, monitor, file, and follow up with insurance companies

Process insurance EOBs and payments

Verify and track insurance coverage, benefits, authorizations, and patient care plans

Ensure the control, security, and privacy of records in compliance with HIPAA guidelines

Clean and stock rooms; maintain clinic laundry

Uphold the clinic’s cleanliness and professional appearance

Assist in improving clinic systems and operational effectiveness

Qualifications:

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Medical billing experience is preferred

Excellent customer service skills

Proficiency with Mac OS and general technical aptitude

Superior organizational and problem-solving skills

Requirements:

High school diploma required

1-2 years of clerical or medical office support experience preferred

Familiarity with medical terminology and experience in a medical practice preferred

Background check required as part of the final hiring process

Strong references and relevant work history are necessary

Professional appearance and dress code adherence are mandatory

Position Details:

Part-time, hourly position
