We are looking to hire a Customer Service Rep (CSR)/Agent to start as soon as possible.

-NO COLD CALLING Needed!

Primary Duties: Interacting with customers (new and established), addressing their concerns, answering questions, and assisting them with insurance needs. This includes answering phone, email and directing general inquiries as well as maintaining records in our database, etc.

Secondary Duties: Issuing policies, requoting current clients, processing payments, maintaining reports and/or records for signatures, and other general office duties as needed.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

1. Maintain Individual Insurance Licensing in Property and Casualty.

2. Maintain customers through Priority Insurance communication guidelines, practices, and procedures.

3. Maintain various documentation needs for the book of business.

4. Maintain and send Birthday cards and other communications as requested.

5. Participate in one-on-one meetings with principal agent and/or manager for training and for any job-related growth opportunities mutually agreed on. (Monthly).

-Flexibility and multi-tasking are a must!

Benefits:

- $18/hour for Agents Licensed in Oregon Property & Casualty Insurance.

- Full time position available, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

-Priority Insurance offers 3% matching retirement contributions.

-Opportunity for (30%) commissions on any new business the CSR/Agent brings to the agency.

Qualifications:

-High school diploma or GED required.

-Ability to maintain an active license, regularly monitored

-Ability to complete a clean background check.

-Ability to work in office, Monday to Friday, General Hours: 9-5pm. (Approximately 35-40 hrs./week.)

-Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills that include the ability to apply active listening and exchange accurate information in a responsive, respectful manner.

-Basic computer skills (including familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, Outlook, etc.).
