We are looking for an experienced, motivated, hard-working, Shop Manager for our growing company. You will play a vital role in coordinating all aspects of our project materials, fleet management, and safety compliance management.
Shop Management Job duties and responsibilities includes but isn't limited to the following:
Accept deliveries:
Unloading of job equipment and supplies:
Checking for damage
Refusing damaged materials
Labeling sorting
Verification of packing lists
Notating location of materials
Notifying Project Managers and Foremen of product arrivals
Tracking the material until it leaves the shop.
Organizing the Shop storage areas and Conex’s
Procuring, distributing, tracking, and organizing tools
Fleet management:
Ensuring proper maintenance schedules
Tracking of vehicles, trailers, and equipment
Managing the Shop help:
Includes training, scheduling, and monitoring.
Qualifications:
It is necessary to be able to work efficiently on your feet (some heavy lifting required), Ability to make decisions quickly while also planning ahead to avoid timely delays later
Operating of vehicles, forklift and equipment is necessary.
Some driving is required to pick up materials or deliver equipment and materials to a jobsite.
Ensure the safety aspects of the shop are being followed.
Be a member of the Company Safety Plan.
Scrap, trash and usable materials are often brought back to the shop for sorting, storing and disposal.
Some property maintenance is required.
Communication with office staff, project managers, foremen and other employees is a key requirement.

Competitive salary $50,000-$80,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
