Full Charge Bookkeeper - Part time

We are seeking an on-site, full charge bookkeeper to coordinate with our CPA, Medical Director and Administrator in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The desired candidate will be a motivated individual with experience in handling books for multiple, interrelated entities who is willing to work as an employee 20-30 hours a week, and more during end of year activities or special projects. The ideal candidate should be competent, quick learner, team player and be able to multitask.

The employee is expected to exercise reasonable independent initiative and judgment in solving most problems that arise within their assigned work area. Work is performed under the general supervision of the company’s Administrator and Medical Director and is reviewed by our outside CPA.

Job Summary: Reconcile all accounts as needed. Produce financial statements and track key metrics, and forecast depreciation, profit, and loss. Update and maintain all accounting records using bookkeeping software. Must understand general ledger entries.

Compatible skills include accounts payable, bookkeeping, financial analysis, financial reporting, month-end close, payroll tax compliance, Quickbooks, tax preparation.

Maintains files and performs some clerical duties. No supervisory or signing responsibilities.

Excellent work environment with private office.

Job Requirements

Graduated from a standard high school or possess an acceptable GED certificate

BA degree in accounting preferred

5-10 years paid experience

2-3 years experience with QuickBooks
